  • Does insurance cover my appointment?

Most of our clients are able to use their HSA cards successfully. Many of our services are also eligible for insurance reimbursement; however, this varies by individual insurance plan.

You may submit your invoice directly to your insurance company to request reimbursement. Payments are expected at the time of service, and reimbursement is solely dependent on your insurance provider.

All invoices are available in your client dashboard portal.

If your insurance does not offer reimbursement, our Membership Plans provide the most cost-effective way to receive a full year of appointments at the lowest rate.

How does ANMC bill clients that are NOT members?

We offer a wide range of services, both in-person and virtual. Clients are invoiced at each session, and payment is due at the time of service.
    We accept:

    • Credit/debit cards

Getting started is simple through our screening process, allowing you to schedule quickly without a long waitlist.

    What is ANMC’s Approach?

Find out more about our approach here.

Can ANMC be my primary care physician?

While we have a Nurse Practitioner on staff, our efforts are intended not as primary care but to round out the healthcare continuum by providing very valuable missing pieces including nutrition, lifestyle strategy, education within a long-term therapeutic relationship. We recommend our members and clients have a PCP for medical visits, acute, and emergency needs.

  • We are so excited to be able to offer wellness services all over the nation. Nutrition services are available to states in which we are allowed to provide services. If members live in the US but aren’t located near our in-person location in Minnesota, they can sign up for a membership and work with us completely online through video or phone. The quality of the session and delivery of content is the same.

If you live near our in person center in Minnesota, you have the option of in-person appointments and therapeutic sessions. If you don’t live nearby or prefer the convenience of virtual appointments, you can select appointments that are telehealth friendly, or our membership.

What happens if I don’t use all of my visits within the year?

Program visits do not roll over to the next year, but there is plenty of time in the 12 month period to use them.

Can another member of my family use one of my visits?

No, we require each individual to have their own program as each individual’s needs are different and requires the proper professional pathways for their own support.

  • Can ANMC prescribe medications?

No, we are not physicians that can prescribe medications. We support the body’s wellbeing and balance and teach education and strategies naturally to restore that balance and direct our focus to support of the root cause and beyond.

What is ANMC’s approach to supplements?

Supplements are powerful tools as well as nutrition and lifestyle change. Should we use supplements, we use those that have been tested and true. Our clinician is trained in making sure supplements are a good fit with any prescription medications you may be taking, and we encourage you to continue to keep your medical team informed to any additions.

We do not claim to treat, heal, cure, or diagnose any condition. Thus, we don’t use supplements as such either. Supplements may be a supportive tool that members can rest assured are only suggested if they are in their best interest. Supplements do not have to be purchased through ANMC, but for convenience and effective support we offer through our online dispensary Fullscript, or in-store.

FAQs

Do I have to be a member to have an appointment?

No. We have many options for you to increase your wellbeing and support your own health. We suggest membership and/or programs because it is clinically proven that our therapeutic programs and ongoing memberships provide a better result through lifestyle engineering, education and support. It is also the option that provides a year’s worth of appointments at their lowest cost.

What appointment would you suggest if I’m just getting started?

It all begins with an initial consultation. The Initial Consultation and Screening is an initial appointment with Amanda Plevell’s team, technicians who are trained in Amanda's method.  A cellular bioenergetic assessment is conducted, and along with evaluation of the required intake forms, the technician is adept at helping you identify imbalanced body systems and get you started with a program or strategy plan.  You can set that appointment here.

What are Bioenergetic Assessments?

We can help clients to acquire traditional labs that are nutritionally supportive, and we also offer energetic assessments using EDS, SRT, MSAS technologies. You can find out more information here.

What kind of Workplace Wellness strategies do you have?

Part of our mission is to help normalize wellbeing and lifestyles that support health for each individual, our communities, and our planet. Because of this, we love to partner with businesses, no matter how small, to support an environment of total wellbeing. You can find out examples of options and get started here.

What is Neural Cognizance Training? Is it like EMDR or QNRS?

Neural Cognizance Training is a technique aligned with similar purposes as EMDR or QNRS, but they are different. NeuCogs are an important part of trauma informed nutrition, and our retraining wellness programs.

As a nutritionist clinician with a focus on trauma nutrition and with a current world culture of ever increasing anxiety, fear, and stress trauma, our clinician participates in ongoing education. We also have coaching staff that is certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol as well and HeartMath’s HRV Resilience Training.

Find out if you are a good candidate for our Stress/Anxiety, Trauma programs here.

What can I do while I wait for my appointment?

If you live near our on-site location in Minnesota, there are many options to get started. You might be interested in what we call “Session Plus” appointments.
